Lindsay's List: June Edition
breezy monochromatic outfits, my life-changing $7 kitchen tool, a 4-ingredient sweet treat, your new hyper-fixation breakfast, and more...
Happy JUNE! Sheesh, how are we already here?! Like I mentioned in last month’s edition, I am so excited to spend the summer here in San Diego and soak up all of its goodness, and it’s off to a great start. Things seemed to have gotten 10x busier lately with lots of activities to keep the boys entertained now that they’re out of school, but I’ve been enjoying all of the time with them, especially since Noah is headed to kindergarten in the fall (!!!!!) and Max off to his second year of preschool. I wish I could freeze time, but am also so proud watching my boys grow up. Any other mamas with me?!
This month is nearing the end, but you know I couldn’t close out June without sharing all of my favorites. From my latest book review (spoiler alert: I loved it) to the boy’s summer wardrobe and my life-changing $7 kitchen tool, here’s what’s on the List this month…
Lots of whites for summer! I love an easy breezy monochromatic outfit, including a few of these pieces…

How adorable are these flats? They are a pair I find myself reaching for again and again— they’re super cushy and work with any outfit.
I ordered this Target top on a whim, and it ended up being SO cute! For $36, the quality is great, and feels so summery.
I’ve shared this purse before, and while definitely a splurge, I have been using it non-stop. The crossbody strap makes it the perfect ‘running around with kids but still stylish’ bag.
Summer means white denim, and I’m absolutely loving these from Frame. They’re wide leg but cropped, so they are extremely flattering, and look great with flats or heels. Just FYI if you’re between sizes, they stretch a lot when you wear them.
I always have to add a good Amazon find on the list, like this belt that’s under $20. Looks high-quality in person and completes any summer look!
What’s summer without a few days playing on the slip n’ slide, and you can’t go wrong with this 22 ft slide that allows for two kiddos at the same time. My boys love racing their friends down it!
A water table that actually fits the aesthetic?! Adding to cart immediately.
A new season means a few new additions to the boys’ wardrobe! Here are the pieces I snagged for summer:
A brand new super clean protein powder that just launched! Doesn't get cleaner than this protein - no additives, no fillers, no artificial sweeteners, just real ingredients and 20g of protein. It’s not as sweet as your typical protein, but I actually like that it’s more mild and that it lets the fruit shine in my smoothies.
My fave small blender in fun new colors, how cute is the pink?!
This salt that elevates every meal, not kidding, I think I put it on everything at this point.
A life-changing kitchen tool for $7, why did I wait so long to start using this!? It makes cooking so much more efficient!

I mean… how cute is this lemon tote? It also comes in strawberry, corn, and lobster—basically the perfect, whimsical summer bag.
4th of July is around the corner, so I’m shopping for my patriotic outfits now. This gingham set would look so cute with this American flag sweater thrown over the shoulders!
I’m dying to try this high gloss SPF oil. A touch of bronze shimmer, glossy finish, and SPF 30? Sign me up!
I absolutely loved Emily Henry's latest book, Great Big Beautiful Life! It's different than her typical cutesy romance books (which I also always love), and while it has that element, it felt a little deeper with the two storylines and the character development. Plus, a great twist at the end! Highly recommend.
Next up, I’m switching gears and picked up The God of the Woods. Sounds like a quick page turner - can't wait to dive in!
Just for My List: Nut-Free Banana Oatmeal Cookies
A take on my OG banana oatmeal cookies, but without nuts so you can pack it for your kid’s camps or when school starts! It’s the perfect, healthy treat that the whole family will love.
Ingredients
2 1/2 bananas, mashed
1 tbsp pure maple syrup
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups quick oats
1/3 tsp cinnamon
1/3 cup chocolate chips
Pinch of flaky sea salt
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spray with avocado oil.
In a bowl, mix mashed bananas with maple syrup, egg, and vanilla extract.
Add quick oats and cinnamon. Stir together, then fold in the chocolate chips.
Using a cookie scoop, scoop the dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Press down slightly to form into an even, round cookie.
Bake for 12-14 min. Remove from oven and sprinkle with sea salt. Enjoy!
